Verbier has the largest mountain biking area in Switzerland and one of the biggest in the Alps. With an extensive trail network for downhill and enduro this place is a true mountain biking mecca, the same mountains that draw the freeride skiers in the winter make the resort an alpine gem worth visiting year round.

MTB EVENTS IN VERBIER
IXS Downhill Swiss Cup – Downhill Event
The IXS series are high-quality downhill races, officially recognized by the UCI and a magnet for elite downhill athletes from all over the world.
Grand Raid – Cross Country Event
This Cross Country mountain bike race takes some serious effort from its competitors, with over 5000m of climbing and 121 km course length.
It sets off from Verbier and sees the riders cross 6 valleys to get to the finish line - definitely not one for the light-hearted!
Swiss Epic – Mountain Bike Event
Six days of pure mountain bike action on the best single trails, surrounded by spectacular Alpine scenery. Two-person teams of professional cyclists and ambitious amateurs will complete a prologue and five stages from Grächen to Zermatt via Leukerbad touching Verbier as one of the stages.
E-Biking Festival
